DAY 01: HA LONG BAY – LAN HA BAY

Hạ Long Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests. The region is popular for scuba diving, rock climbing and hiking, particularly in mountainous Cát Bà National Park. Ha Long Bay is not just a UNESCO-listed site, it's also home to a number of fishing communities who have lived on the water for centuries. Take a boat tour ...

Ninh Binh is a province located in the northern region of Vietnam, approximately 90 kilometers south of Hanoi. It is famed for its stunning natural beauty, rich history, and unique cultural heritage.

Hoa Lư is a district of Ninh Bình province in the Red River Delta region of Vietnam. Before 1010, Hoa Lư served as the capital of Đại Cồ Việt. The ancient capital of Hoa Lư is located in Trường Yên Commune.Located near the town of Ninh Binh, Hoa Lu is the site of a 10th-century capital of an ancient Vietnamese Kingdom called Dai Co Viet. This small Kingdom covered an area of only 300 hectares, and reigned from the 10th century, during the Dinh and Le dynasties, to the 11th century, during the Ly Dynasty.

Hang Múa and its famous twin pinnacles is one of the top attractions in Ninh Binh province. Climbing approximately 500 stone steps carved into the rock to reach the summit is both a tiring and rewarding experience.Down a sleepy road between rice paddies, this cave (the name means 'Cave of Dance') is not terribly impressive, but there are panoramic views from the peak above.
