DAY 01: ARRIVE Leh 3505 meters / 11567 feet

Leh is a city in Ladakh in the Himalayan region. It is the largest city and the joint capital of Ladakh. Leh, located in the Leh district, was also the historical capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh. Due to the strong influence of Tibetan Buddhism, Leh is also known as Little Tibet or the Land of Lamas. Barren mountains with brightly painted gompas (or monasteries), fluttering prayer flags, rocky ridges, tiny settlements and the Indus River add to the overall charm of the region.

Leh (Ladakh) was known in the past by different names. It was called Maryul or low land by some Kha- chumpa by others. Fa-Hein referred to it as Kia-Chha and Hiuen Tsang as Ma-Lo-Pho.

DAY 02: Leh local sightseeing with sangam

Day 03: NUBRA VALLEY TOUR via Khardungla Pass

Nubra Valley is the northernmost part of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated about 150 km from Leh, Nubra Valley is known as the Orchard of Ladakh and was originally called Ldumra which meant the valley of flowers.it is 128 miles long and 72 miles wide, making up an area of 9,200 square miles. It extends south till the Pangong Lake. In modern nomenclature, the Nubra region is divided into "Diskit Nubra" in the north and the "Darbuk region" in the south, both of which are regarded as tehsils and subdivisions of the Leh district.

Day 04: Tour of Pangong Lake- It is the highest land locked lake

Pangong Lake, situated at a height of almost 4,350m, is the world's highest saltwater lake. Its water, which seems to be dyed in blue, stand in stark contrast to the arid mountains surrounding it. Extending to almost 160km, one-third of the Pangong Lake lies in India and the other two-thirds in China.Pangong Lake is that it has saline water and even then the water freezes and also because of this the lake cannot have any kind of vegetation or even aquatic life.
