DAY 01: chandigarh to manali (08-09 Hrs drive)
Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.Manali is synonymous streams and birdsong, forests and orchards and grandees of snow-capped mountains. Manali is the real starting point of an ancient trade route which crosses the Rohtang and Baralacha passes, and runs via Lahul and Ladakh to Kashmir while divergent road connects it with Spiti.
Day 02: Manali to sarchu 06 to 07 hrs drive (220 KMs)
Sarchu is of great importance mainly due to its location on the Leh-Manali highway. It also resembles Ladakh with its barren splendor. This place can be visited between June and September when the snow melts and the Leh-Manali highway is open for traffic. Sarchu is an important route for Ladakh Manali Highway.It is a famous camping site for tourists enroute to Ladakh. Sarchu provides a gateway to Leh District. Located on the border of Jammu and Kashmir, the city offers marvellous views of the majestic Himalayas and spellbinding scenery. Sarchu is a great stopover for travellers.
DAY 03: Sarchu to Leh 07 to 08 hrs drive (260 KMs) from Sarchu
Sarchu is a major halt point with tented accommodation in the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway, on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh in India. It is situated between Baralacha La to the south and Lachulung La to the north, at an altitude of 4,201 m.Manali to Sarchu distance is approx 230 km. This is the midpoint in Manali Leh route and you get Swiss tents for a night stay with good amenities. The journey for covering the section of Manali to the town of Sarchu takes almost 8 hours if road conditions are fine.Sarchu is one of the important points of a halt in the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway. The place is located on the boundary of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and Union Territory Ladakh.
Day 04: Sham Valley Tour
The valley is renowned for its stunning landscapes, vibrant apricot orchards, and traditional Ladakhi villages. The villages in Sham Valley Trek offer a glimpse into the traditional Ladakhi way of life.This is the most loved valley to visit in Ladakh also entitled as the tri-arm valley in Ladakh. Day 05: Leh To NUBRA VALLEY TOUR Via Khardungla Pass 18380 Ft (BD)
Nubra, also called Dumra, is a historical region of Ladakh, India that is currently administered as a subdivision and a tehsil in the Leh district. Its inhabited areas form a tri-armed valley cut by the Nubra and Shyok rivers. Its Tibetan name Dumra means "valley of flowers. Known for its orchards, scenic vistas, Bactrian camels and monasteries; Nubra Valley is the northernmost part of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated about 150 km from Leh, Nubra Valley is known as the Orchard of Ladakh and was originally called Ldumra which meant the valley of flowers.
DAY 06: Nubra to Pangong Lake- It is the highest land locked lake
Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. It is 134 km long and divided into five sublakes, called Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak, Rum Tso and Nyak Tso.Pangong Lake, situated at a height of almost 4,350m, is the world's highest saltwater lake. Its water, which seems to be dyed in blue, stand in stark contrast to the arid mountains surrounding it. Extending to almost 160km, one-third of the Pangong Lake lies in India and the other two-thirds in China.The fascinating fact about Pangong Lake is that it has saline water and even then the water freezes and also because of this the lake cannot have any kind of vegetation or even aquatic life.
Day 07: Pangong to leh

Due to this reason, the water of Pangong lake is salty and the Color is blue.The name Pangong Tso only applied to the westernmost lake that is mostly in Ladakh. The main lake on the Tibetan side is called Tso Nyak (the "middle lake"). It is followed by two small lakes called Rum Tso. The last lake near Rutog is called Nyak Tso again.
DAY 08: Leh To Srinagar
Srinagar is a city in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir in the disputed Kashmir region. It is the largest city and summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, which is an Indian-administered union territory. The capital city of Srinagar is located 1585 meters above sea level. The city is famous for its gardens, lakes and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dried fruits. The city is located on both the sides of the Jhelum River, which is called Vyath in Kashmir.Famously referred to as “Heaven on Earth ”, Srinagar is known for the static houseboats and gondola-type boats- Shikaras in Dal Lake. Decorated with serene Dal Lake & Nigeen Lake, Srinagar is the ideal place for honeymoon and family vacations.
