DAY 01: Arrive Srinagar
The capital city of Srinagar is located 1585 meters above sea level. The city is famous for its gardens, lakes and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dried fruits. The city is located on both the sides of the Jhelum River, which is called Vyath in Kashmir.

Day 02: Srinagar to Gulmarg
Gulmarg has attracted millions of tourists throughout its existence with the scenic beauty of the Himalayan Mountains in the back drop. One of the main attractions in Gulmarg is the Gulmarg Gondola, the Highest Cable Car in the world.Yousuf Shah Chak, who ruled Kashmir from 1579 to 1586, frequented the place with his queen Habba Khatoon and renamed it 'Gulmarg' ("meadow of flowers").
Day 03: Srinagar to Pahalgam
Pahalgam is associated with the annual pilgrimage to the shrine Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari, located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from Pahalgam. The town is the starting point of the yatra that takes place every year in the months of July–August, receiving hundreds of thousands of tourists.Fringed by snow-covered Himalayan peaks, deep valleys and skirted by the gushing glacial Lidder river, the hill station of Pahalgam in Kashmir Valley, is one of nature's benevolent and beatific expressions.
DAY 04: Pahalgam to Srinagar
In the northernmost Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir lies Pahalgam, a picturesque town often dubbed 'Mini Switzerland'. This charming destination draws renown for its breathtaking landscapes, lush green meadows, and snow-capped mountains, resembling the Swiss Alps strikingly.
The name Srinagar comes from the combination of 2 words in Sanskrit, “Sri”, meaning 'Lakshmi' i.e. prosperity and “Nagar”, meaning 'city'. A section of chroniclers accounts for the view that the renowned Mauryan monarch, King Ashoka, founded this city, which then was situated near the Pandrethan village
Day 05: Srinagar to Kargil
Kargil boasts a number of exciting attractions such as Kargil War Memorial, Mulbekh Monastery, Munshi Aziz Bhat Museum and Rangdum Monastery. Another extremely popular attraction is the Suru Valley which is known for its meandering rivers, lush greenery and apple orchards.Kargil district of Ladakh is dotted with a number of ancient monuments and valuable heritage sites. Among these is a huge rock sculpture locally known as chamba at Apati. This is a 9 meter high rock statue of the Maitreya Buddha curved out in deep relief.
Day 06: Kargil to Leh
Due to the strong influence of Tibetan Buddhism, Leh is also known as Little Tibet or the Land of Lamas. Barren mountains with brightly painted gompas (or monasteries), fluttering prayer flags, rocky ridges, tiny settlements and the Indus River add to the overall charm of the region.Ladakh is most famous for breathtaking landscapes, the crystal clear skies, the highest mountain passes, thrilling adventure activities, Buddhist Monasteries and festivals.
DAY 07: Tour of Khardungla
Khardung La (la means "pass" in Tibetan) is a high mountain pass located in the Ladakh region, Maqbuza Kashmir.
Khardungla Pass, perched at an impressive altitude of 5,359 metres above sea level, is often celebrated as the 'highest motorable pass in the world'. Nestled in the rugged terrains of the Ladakhregion in Jammuand Kashmir, this pass is a gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys.
DAY 08: Nubra – Turtuk - Nubra
Known for its orchards, scenic vistas, Bactrian camels and monasteries; Nubra Valley is the northernmost part of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated about 150 km from Leh, Nubra Valley is known as the Orchard of Ladakh and was originally called Ldumra which meant the valley of flowers.
These villages form the only region in India populated by Balti people. Turtuk is known for its fruit, especially apricots. Turtuk was administered by Pakistan & was under Pakistani control until the war of 1971, when the Indian Army regained control again. It is also one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier.
DAY 09: Tour of Pangong Lake
Pangong Lake, situated at a height of almost 4,350m, is the world's highest saltwater lake. Its water, which seems to be dyed in blue, stand in stark contrast to the arid mountains surrounding it. Extending to almost 160km, one-third of the Pangong Lake lies in India and the other two-thirds in China.The fascinating fact about Pangong Lake is that it has saline water and even then the water freezes and also because of this the lake cannot have any kind of vegetation or even aquatic life.
DAY 10:Pangong Lake to Leh
Leh (Ladakh) was known in the past by different names. It was called Maryul or low land by some Kha- chumpa by others. Fa-Hein referred to it as Kia-Chha and Hiuen Tsang as Ma-Lo-Pho.
